Spider-Man

During the age of six when both of his parents Richard and Mary Parker died in an airplane crash overseas, Peter Benjamin Parker was orphaned and raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. When he was growing up, Peter Parker was a gifted student and became an honor roll student at Midtown High School. The scholastic interest and shyness of his personality made him into a social outcast. While attending a public exhibition demonstrating the safe handling of nuclear laboratory waste materials, sponsored by the General Techtronics had been irradiated by a particle accelerator used in the aforementioned demonstration. Making his way home afterwards, Parker discovered he had somehow gained incredible strength, speed, agility, and the ability to climb up on walls, as well as spider-like abilities after a radioactive spider bit his hand. Encountering an ad offering a cash prize for staying in the ring for three minutes with a professional wrestler, Peter Parker decided that this would be a good way to practice his powers. Peter easily defeated the opponent while keeping the mask on to avoid potential embarrassment. A television producer observed his performance and convinced him to go on television with his "act". Designing a costume and some wrist-mounted web-spinners, Peter Benjamin Parker called himself the Amazing Spider-Man, becoming an immediate senational superhero.
