Sheldon Cooper is a main character of the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory. He, like the other guys, is a nerd and proud of being one. He is extremely arrogant, and does not really understand sarcasm. He also strongly dislikes whistling. He is played by actor Jim Parsons.
